Small Businesses & Entrepreneurs

Small businesses are the foundation of Tulsa’s vibrant, one-of-a-kind community. Without our resilient hometown staples, diverse retailers, local services and entrepreneurs, Tulsa wouldn’t exist.

1:1 Small Business Advising

We offer one-on-one advising that allows you to discuss your business idea or growth opportunities directly with a qualified business advisor.

Workshops and Programs

TAEO offers workshops and programs that cover a variety of topics to support your small business at every stage.

Microgrant Program

For small businesses, a few hundred dollars can be the difference between an idea and a launch, or between surviving and growing.

Over the past two years, TAEO has paired training with investment, benefiting 90+ Tulsa entrepreneurs through microgrants. We help small businesses get started, overcome barriers, and take their next step.

Through this program, we’ve also connected 30+ businesses with hands-on marketing support and provided business-planning grants to approximately 80 entrepreneurs, because we know that access to capital and practical support can make a meaningful difference.

We’re looking for entrepreneurs who need a boost to grow and more community partners and sponsors who want to invest directly in the people building Tulsa’s small-business economy.
