The Woodland Hills Economic Development Project Plan was created to fund the redevelopment of the western part of Woodland Hills Mall. The plan created one TIF district, designed to assist the development of the Scheels store and public improvements in the surrounding commercial corridor. The 240,000 sf. Scheels store, employing over 450 people, opened in Fall 2024 and has already had a significant impact in revitalizing the corridor.
